As Raymond's pregnancy progressed he had a an increasingly hard time finding masc clothes that fit. So he started wearing women's maternity clothes,and to his surprise he learned to enjoy dressing girly and androgynous more than he did masculine.

Raymond pulling up his hoodie to check his belly, At this point into his pregnancy even he is constantly surprised at both how big he's gotten, and the reality that there is a living creature in there. That in a few short weeks will be in his arms, and not his tummy.
