Oilseed rape has been a key break crop and fabulous for wildlife. However, growing the crop doesn't come without challenges. The joint AHDB & United Oilseeds OSR Conference 2025 looked at opportunities to seize and how to mitigate challenges.

Yesterday, Defra secretary, Steve Reed set out a timeline for the Precision Breeding Act.

A clear plan to introduce necessary secondary legislation, by the end of March, is positive news for the plant breeding industry.
