Today’s budget has no answers for adult social care.

We are glad to see a living wage increase that will help out many social care workers, but there's little prospect of councils being able to fund the full cost pressures that providers such as SeeAbility face.

Many people we support use communication aids to share their thoughts and choices and to connect with others. These tools can be costly, and funding is never guaranteed.

From midday on Tuesday 2 December until midday on Tuesday 9 December, every donation made through The Big Give will be doubled.

SeeAbility joined Guide Dogs UK at parliament to share the new Eye Care Support Pathway for children and young people. It sets out what good eye care should look like so every child with sight loss can live an equal and independent life.
