Hello! I’ve been absent due to personal stress and the sims not really being a good outlet. Lost my creativity a bit and needed to focus on real life not hide away. I don’t know when I’m playing sims again but probably not for a while! I’ve had a lot going on but I pop back every now and then and most recently when having free game time I played some good old assassins creed.

I don’t know what I’m gonna do about my game issues. At this stage I can’t play. Best option I think k I have is going back to an old save. Check I can remove residential rental lots safely - this is where an issue kinda came from, and if so age up an entire gen and redo uni for them. Speed run lol

Peeps I don’t think I can play anymore. I’m scared of playing in my save with the issues and going back to an older one I also now have evergreen harbour issues with the world in both saves. Last option I have is removing for rent and dealing with the impacts of that on my sims in rentals? 😖

I’m so conflicted about this new pack when for rent with a similar mechanic is so broken years later and we have r heard anything in progress fixing those issues. That mechanism is my most used also. Think I might now be encountering for rent corruption too.

These for rent bugs are so sad. The functionality is one of my fave things and the fact it’s causing so many errors is so sad. Especially because mechanics like these are game changing.

I really wish the sims were working on a sims 5! It’s gonna be years away anyway but I’d like to know we’re getting a new robust system that can better handle things like big saves/many households and are better bases for things like multifunctional lots

So perhaps in trying to remove a residential rental I have got a corrupt lot/rental and if I want to undo this particular lot issue I’m going to need to go back to a backup pre playing the uni household which means redoing all their uni terms 😅 yikes

I need to know this -
It seems they perhaps test on new saves for base game + new pack or new saves with cross pack testing. Is there testing with the saves that are super old and have every pack? To me is seems this is where major issues come from?

I’m looking forward to doing the pottery and tattooing! I’ll probably use the mentoring and classes most. I think this will enhance recreation centres I have in worlds with less lots.

I really do think the cas and build buy for the pack look really good! They’ve certainly done well in that area!
Just a couple small gripes similar to what @jamesturner.yt mentioned in his build buy overview about the stairs and fences/gates.
Catalog needs updating for sure!

I wish for clubs there were also the ability for uni requirements like career requirements. I want clubs for only uni students that aren’t the specific uni affiliated clubs. And when they graduate uni or are on probation or whatever they aren’t in the club anymore.
