Lumin (the aforementioned moth, he had a name after all!) is waking up in a mushroom patch... but the mushrooms are all big and round, alongside Lumin themselves who towers above the scenery. Spores litter the surrounding air, thanks to the moth in question having taken a bite out of a mushroom, which now lies limp on the ground as Lumin confusedly holds onto it with his mandibles. Lumin truly has no idea about what they've just wrought... mainly since he's just now waking up. Beyond that, the scenery is rather basic. Grass still (barely) towers over the mushroom ring, and a rock/fence combo sit neatly just behind it. Dawn is approaching, and the stars are witness. Author's Note: I had a fuck ton of fun with this piece, to be honest! Kinda went nuts with the background, chose dawn as the time of day so that the colors could still *POP* while still working towards the green color palette of Lumin. Also did some research on mushrooms so I could get the shape right, figure out what a "balloon mushroom" looked like, before promptly throwing it out and going with the classic red/white type of mushroom because I'm so clever. (Though red and green are a good combo, so you know what? It works.) Originally the grass actually towered over both Lumin and the mushrooms, but it kinda messed with the scale in a way I wasn't fond of, so I redrew it so the grass was shorter and the sizes made more sense. Not *completely*, of course, I ain't quite there yet with scale and perspective, and in hindsight I probably could've molded the entire color schema closer to a nighttime palette... but I'm satisfied well enough to say I'm comfortable with the end result.
