Not a “to-do” list. A “to feel” list. I put together a free Summer Art Bucket List to help you savor the season through little moments of making. If you need a nudge to unplug, this is it. Check it out: www.secondshore.co/summer-art-b...

Seascape painting reveal! I’m not sure if this acrylic on canvas is done yet. I might add some ✨ Either way, she’ll be available on June 28th at Canalside in Buffalo! 🌅 🌊

Also I realize my camera was dirty. Oops!

Out of office and into the paint.

I made a Summer Art Bucket List filled with beachy, joy-filled ideas to help you log off and make something just for the fun of it.

I’ve had this denim jacket for years! I was going to donate it but decided to paint it instead! What should I paint on it? 🦞 🐚 ⛵️ 🌊 🤙 🏄‍♀️

Left my soul in Charleston.

Wrote about it this week on Notes from the Shore — the messy, grateful, grieving-in-the-airport kind of move.

New Substack post is live!

I’m stepping back from art markets this year and leaning into slow mornings, new ideas, and creative freedom.

If you’ve ever needed a reminder that it’s okay to pivot, this one's for you.

Feeling so honored that four of the six paintings I showed at the Junior League of Buffalo Showhouse found new homes 🥹
Started selling art casually in 2019 and never thought this would happen.
Two of these three sold, but the wave is still available 🌊

Artists, what did your first sale feel like?

A very special watercolor painting of a 1957 Chevy. I grew up around classic cars, so this was a dream project for me! I can’t wait to do more. 🎨

I’ve always been drawn to those quiet, in-between moments. The kind where the sun fades, the water settles, and the world slows down just for a second. 🌅

This acrylic painting on canvas is now available on my website. Framed or unframed.

I’ve been researching watercolor markers and I’ve been hesitant to pull the trigger on Copic markers because I’m not sure I’ll use them. I found these for $10 at TJMaxx. I’m sure the quality isn’t the same, but it’ll give me w good chance to play and practice! 🖊️

Lost in the rhythm of the waves… ✨🌊

I’ve been spending time studying the movement of water, capturing its depth, flow, and light with watercolor. There’s something so meditative about layering blues and letting the paint move like the ocean itself.

We left the Lowcountry for my husband’s job and moved to Buffalo, NY. I miss that warm Charleston breeze, but we’re hoping to buy another place there soon.

For now, I’ll keep painting my love letters to the sea. "Subdued Sundown" is now available on my site. Unframed or framed. 🌊✨
