UN declared 2025, "International Year for Glaciers' Preservation". Climate warming led to 37 consecutive years of glacier mass balance loss. We have obs. Ice Worm Glacier every year 1984-2024-no longer a glacier in 2024 it was riddled with ice caves. #glaciology

One of my favorite deep-time walks ( I take these quite often) was in/on/within the worlds oldest known forest in Cairo, NY. I was beyond thankful for solo time amongst the stony roots of Archaeopteris - climate changers of their time #deeptime #climatechange #CO2 #anthropocene
