Honestly for this alone I'm glad that canon ibb says fuck
it sounds like a joke, but it can be very worthwhile to ask yourself "Would they say fuck?" about all of the characters you're working with
if you can come up with a good justification for why they would or would not say fuck, you're probably on the right track

Character voice in localization is something that seems so minor but it's also super important. The differences between "Wait a sec," "Wait a minute," and "Wait a moment." might feel pedantic but it's the kind of thing you really need to consider on a per-character basis.

I think in general the intl fandom moves depending on how entertaining something will be 🤔 which makes sense and is fun until people pull the "what's morally acceptable based on my shit puritanist and biased opinion"
