I had to get some stuff off bc I’m willing to have convos about religion and spirituality and the spectrum of understanding. What I’m not willing to do from almost either ‘side’ of is deal with a lot of finger wagging.

On the other hand i absolutely agree with Deante that people have such a skewed perception of the representation of Jesus and Christian religion in our community that we gotta have some honest convos. But I live in a two things can be true mindset so much that these extreme takes are… eh
So.. while I have my own practice in how I honor my ancestors, I do not ‘WORSHIP’ them. Veneration is defined: to honor and give great respect. Also a lot of our ancestors were tortured in killed. Their deaths being categorized as they died intentionally for us can get dicey. Nuance is..
On this Deante Kyle thing: I don’t have an issue with people turning away from the ‘Christian religion’. What I have an issue with is someone hearing that I worship the JudeoChristian God and I’m a Christ follower and then defining what I believe for me.
