New profile pic just dropped! 😆 I couldn't shave the beard and leave up the pic with the scruff so this is what you get to look at when you see me online for the next few months. 🤣

It's sad that this space will no longer exist but so wonderful that it no longer needs to.
After nearly three decades, a Minnesota summer camp for kids with HIV/AIDS is closing and up for sale... because retroviral drugs are so effective that there aren't enough campers.

Science works, y'all.

Closure of northern Minnesota camp is ‘the greatest story.’ Here’s why.

For the first time since we've been here, Emma brought me her bear to play with! 🐶🧸🥹

This is the date USA celebrates Thanksgiving. That's not a thing in Australia. But I still wanted to let you all know that I am thankful for everyone who has been supportive and helped me and Emma make this move around the world.

PUPDATE: Emma was released from quarantine today! She didn't recognize me when they first let her out of her crate. When she finally did get close enough to sniff me, she flipped out! 😆 We took her to a park until she finally settled down and relaxed. Now she's snoozing at our AirBnB.

PUPDATE: Emma approved for release from quarantine on Thursday! I'm so relieved and excited. Almost there.

This just popped up for me on Facebook for some reason and I had to share. 🤣 This is me and my Mum at San Diego Pride. I don't remember the exact year but would have been 1990, give or take.

Hello Australia! I made it to Melbourne and I might be having an adult beverage or two with an old friend.

This just popped up in my Facebook Memories. Just a coincidence that it should come up on the day I make my return to Australia?? Yes, probably... But I choose to take it as good omen! 🇦🇺🏳️‍🌈

Moving Milestone! My trusty 2006 Scion xB Release Series 4.0 that I bought brand new in February 2007. It has been my everyday car for nearly 18 years! Today I sold it as one of the last things I had to do before leaving for Australia. It's the first time I haven't owned a car in about 25 years!

I finally deactivated my Twitter account this morning. I haven't used it in over a year but just left it there. I don't need to bring that dumpster fire with me as I restart life in Australia.

I've cancelled my subscription to
@washingtonpost.com . This decision in a year when one of the candidates is literally the least qualified person, and biggest threat to constitutional order, EVER to be nominated is unconscionable. I can't with the kowtowing to the billionaire oligarchs.
'Washington Post' won't endorse in White House race for first time since 1980s
The Washington Post declined to make an endorsement in this year's presidential race. Its editorial board has written that GOP nominee Donald Trump is unfit for office.
