The budget approval was the only leverage the Democrats had on Trump and the Republicans. Chuck Schumer approved the budget in exchange for nothing. This budget is unacceptable as it cuts billions for healthcare, education, and key services. The Democrats are not and have not been fighting for us.

State senator Shelly Short is blocking funds for a new library in a small town in the top right corner of Washington state. Her reason: the librarians won't take down their pride flag. This is disgraceful.

United Therapeutics are putting the 10 gene edited pig kidneys into humans. Competitor eGenesis has a pig with 69 gene edits, but most are for viruses in the genome.

Unfortunately, this 10 gene edited pig heart was rejected. I am excited to see if this can be solved with current tools or if additional gene editing is required.
