Rob Reiner’s THE PRINCESS BRIDE gave me one of my most treasured moviegoing memories when I saw it with my father in 1987. I’ll write more about it later, but right now I’m just trying to absorb the enormity of this awful news.

I’m watching the Beatles Anthology on Disney Plus and not only has it been cleaned up and remastered, it’s been recut- significantly. It’s fascinating. The kind of stuff only a hardcore fan might notice, but it’s there.

UPDATE: wow, in checking across social media, it looks like I’m not alone. The general consensus on the 2025 remix of “Real Love” is 👎 This is one of very, very few musical miscues in their entire musical career

Lifelong Beatles fan here. I have to say, I don't much care for the 2025 remix of "Real Love" on Anthology 4- but then, I really didn't like the 2015 remix either. Give me the 1995 version any day. Just my two cents.

I will say this: seeing one of the president’s most rabid supporters resign from Congress in a VERY public “divorce” move was not on my bingo card.😳 I’m not sure what it means, but clearly Republicans have gotten themselves into real trouble.
