dry land after 3 weeks on a ship out in the Gulf. waiting for a lift to the airport so i can get back to Virginia...load up the van and hit the road to South Carolina for a couple of gigs. Some clothes I washed last night on the ship didn't dry in time so 🤷♀️ only 16 hours til I'm home

a poster for one of my tour dates. I don't look like this...I hate cheap AI art. I can imagine the prompt here was "Asian MAN wearing a suit and holding a guitar".Really bland...you reduced me to a boring illustration of Mr Sulu's head on Johnny Cash's body. Thanks for the gender dysphoria too👎

This has been my life for the last 2 months. Time moves differently in the bayou. Weeks go by fast but the days are a week long. I left the Gulf yesterday. After 3 days and 1500 miles I'll turn 50 and get on a plane to leave for a month long tour in Europe.

There's so many critters here...these cuties were orphaned, but we're helping them eat and keeping them warm. Their eyes are barely opening. 🦝

Installed a tow hitch on Dreamy to haul our survey vehicle. I've found 2 turtles so far this season and our team has found almost one per week on average. The turtles from last season were all found with plastic in their stomachs. A few even had nothing but plastic. (Continued...)

The sun is out but it's bloody cold. The mid Atlantic U.S. has had it's faux Spring and now Winter has begun in earnest. I rode my bike by the shore for about 15 minutes before racing back to the warmth of the van.

This is my touring pedal setup which has served me well since last Spring. Today is the first day I've opened it in months. I'm going to shake the cobwebs off myself (and clean these nasty pedals). I'm playing at Rye in Baltimore MD next Thursday Feb 6th.Nobody is here yet on BSKY but who cares?

As subscription rates in the US for Spotify go up, artist payment rates go down. We need the Living Wage for Musicians Act, which would guarantee direct, fair payment to artists! Under the LWFMA, any increased subscription rate would increase artists’ pay.
