Ran a session of Orc Borg on a whim today after my DnD session had a few no-shows. What an absolute silly joy it was. Reminded me of when I first started playing TTRPGs in college. Just sheer creativity and wacky antics. It was a real balm for this weary GM's soul

Coming back to writing genre fiction after almost a decade of writing academic non-fiction feels like trying clean a house thats lain dormant and covered in dust for years. Its fun to rediscover all these old ideas and conventions but goddamn is it a lot of work to reawaken these old rooms
