The house price crisis has a knock on effect of schools having to close.

High prices> Parents can't afford somewhere big enough to have kids > Moving > School rolls falling.

To St Magnus the Martyr in the City of London today for a high mass after which we processed to London Bridge, meeting the congregation of Southwark Cathedral in the middle for the annual Blessing of the River Thames. Prayers are said for those who work on the river, and those who have died on it 1/

Annual service of Blessing of the River Thames with Southwark Cathedral and St Magnus the Martyr churches takes place in middle of London Bridge this Sunday just after 12.30pm.
