“I think it’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights.” — Charlie Kirk, 2023

Why doesn’t anyone ask him “But sir, you said that other countries would be paying the tariffs. So why would my child’s doll cost two dollars more?”
Trump dismissed Americans’ concerns about rising costs caused by his tariffs:

“Well, maybe the children will have two dolls instead of 30 dolls. And maybe the two dolls will cost a couple bucks more than they would normally.”

Hey, I love DST! I think it's such a great idea that we should do it MORE often! Like, weekly! We could “spring forward” every Friday afternoon and “fall back” every Sunday morning.

Say, @pomological.xor.blue, do you happen to have any paintings of something called a “Micah apple”? That's a variety that I've always wanted to see. TIA!

In the comics, Clark Kent would take off his glasses, tousle his hair a little bit, and nobody recognized him.

In real life, if you lose your glasses, 80% of people don't notice, and the rest are like “Did you lose weight? Did you get a haircut?”

And Clark Kent worked for a 𝑛𝑒𝑤𝑠 𝑜𝑟𝑔𝑎𝑛𝑖𝑧𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛.

The chorus to REO Speedwagon’s _Take It On The Run_ contains the lines “I don't believe it / Not for a minute” but the entire rest of the song makes it clear that he does, in fact, believe it.
