To his credit, he put his foot down, made a conscientious decision not to take drugs. Many artist cannot reach inside themselves to find that resolve. Jehovah did not create them to be worshiped. I believe to a large extent, that is one of their biggest struggle.

Your parents sounds adorable. I enjoyed their story from your perspective. I even like your dad. I think he was just fine, just a different generation. They counteracted ur Grandmas affect on you. Based on what I've read so far, it is your Mom and Dad's hard work in the mirror, not Grandma's.
