Genuinely some of the best stories I've ever read/watched started with a character who was really just kind of a lame lil dude. Re:Zero, Utawarerumono, Mushoku Tensei and heck, even Blue Archive are always gonna be my GOATs. (Tho even I'll admit Rudeus started off *really* rough)
