Admiral LeBeau and her people didn’t stay long beyond the meeting. While she made comments to the effect of needing to get back on the hunt for Benson Fisch before the Prime Minister replaced her, I’m pretty sure she was also worried that her aide might end up causing some trouble with a fixation on Tindron. The woman had spent most of the meeting slightly flushed, and casting what she probably thought were subtle looks his way.

Breaking through the fog of sleep, his mind moved through the realization that he was not in his room on Eve’s Blessing. The memories of the hideous creatures in the derelict facility burst into his consciousness like an invading hoard. His heart clenched in terror for a split second.

Commonwealth News Central October 3, 2342 Rumors continue to circulate regarding events on the edge of charted space. The colony of Eve’s Blessing is said to have been completely destroyed in a planetary disaster with no survivors. Administrators Stoic and Serene West, who were attending a conference at Bradbury Station at the time of the incident, are beside themselves with grief at the loss of their only son, who had remained behind.

“Commander, Titan’s Whisper is reporting a slight delay in their timetable for ConSpace transition.” Stacy announced as we all kept at least half an eye on the tactical screens. Since the admiral had come aboard, she had been a difficult task master, and Angela had been on the go every waking minute of her day. When she’d been tapped to fill the role of the admiral’s aide during this operation, she’d understood that it was going to be a very demanding job, and was no stranger to hard work, but did like some down time.
