It's been the most awful week. Salem has been bitten by a copperhead. We took him to the vet immediately, and he's been hospitalized since. Today is his amputation surgery. Please send all the good mojo and karma you can spare. The team working with him have been great, it's just so scary.

Your veganism matters even in the face of systemic animal exploitation. I mean, large corporations pollute but that does not free you to cancel your recycling pickup and just start dumping all your trash into the nearest river, either. Come on, dude.

I couldn't agree more. Now overcoming segregation is part of, as Trump put it, DEI's "immoral discrimiation programs"? Is there no end to this white supremecist crap?
At some point the press needs to stop adopting right-wing framing that this is a "DEI purge" and call it what it is — white supremacist violence against our collective past.
