Brisbane bus routes are changing at the end of the month around three quarters of routes are impacted.

The biggest change is that for many will see a trip to the city become a two-seat journey - a bus will take them to the Busway, and then another service will take them the rest of the way.

Phoebe Bishop's housemate has been taken into police custody over the 17-year-olds disappearance.

Phoebe has been missing from Bundaberg since May 15 after she failed to board a flight to Perth.

Cyclists who were planning to protest on Brisbane's Story Bridge during Fridays morning peak have been ordered to remove their social media event, after the protest was blocked by the magistrates court.

The owner of Brisbane Private, Gold Coast Private, Peninsula Private, Pine Rivers Private and Sunnybank Private Hospitals has collapsed into receivership.

A statement from owner Healthscope says the hospitals continue to operate as normal.

Brisbane City Council's Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner says homeless people will be given 24 hours to leave the city's parks.

"We've been taking a compassionate and flexible approach, but that is not working," Cr Shrinner said.
