My guess is that the real reason for the “ballroom” is so Trump can build a new big beautiful bunker because the one under the White House now is small and depressing and has almost no gold trim.

At the risk of #hopium I would disagree in that I think Newsom in self-conscious flexing and Pritzker in serious adulting have disrupted the flow in that Trump design for the public information space. Newsom Press Office’s ALL CAPS tweets smoothly throw a turbulent vortex of some random lifespan.
