This feels more like a your-subfield-problem, for adopting and sticking with a completely uninformative model for author ordering?

I mean, maybe bc he refers to Mamdani as a "trained performer" who "recites" talking points?

Those are very specific word choices, which are generally not seen as positive, and with none of the explanatory/mitigating context that everyone is reading into it.

Hey, how about that food on airplanes, right?

It's immigrants.

And lines at the DMV -- so long, amirite?

Also immigrants.

And what about in the summer, it's hot out, you're walking and your underwear starts to slowly creep up your buttcrack?

Also immigrants!

"I didn't see it"

"oh, our intern has an iPad with it cued up right now, let's take a look together"

If the party had done a Biden for 20 years, we'd be deep into one-party R rule.

Hating on political journalism is good *if you find or create an alternative*. If you instead just hope your message somehow gets out, you're patting yourself on the back while shooting everyone else in the head.

Oh I agree with you 💯. I just won't sign on to that being his "best quality". By doing what you've described, he completely botched the entire political side of the presidency, and we are currently paying the price. Nothing good about that.

Cameras + zero-tolerance of license plate obstruction/tampering seems like it would take care of a lot of that
May 29, 2025 at 5:27 PM
Yes, let's stick with the current system of cops choosing who to ticket and who to ignore, which us undoubtedly socioeconomically and racially fairer.

I am wondering if you also work on rental car radio and AC controls? If so, keep up the great work! I love spending the first 15 min trying to solve your puzzles while almost crashing into things.

Because running mates are chosen by the presidential candidate, and the only choce for everyone else at that point is to back them or be a spoiler?

But the judge said that the statement -- in which the AI-reanimated asks for forgiveness of his murderer -- made him hand down a *longer* sentence.

Absolutely none of this makes any sense.

> RFK Jr. is not wrong.

If this is how you think D's should be messaging against a fanatic trying to *ban vaccines*, maybe you should've stayed in medicine.

When they are literally memory-holing the guy who hoisted the flag at Iwo Jima simply because of his ethnicity, don't you guys feel at all ashamed to still be playing along with their "anti-DEI" terminology, instead of actually calling this what it is?

Because I would.
