Rick Carlisle was encouraged by the 20-10 start, but — "from there, we just did not play well enough. 152 points is very disappointing."
An unacceptable performance from the Pacers, bad health or not. Didn't like a lot of what we saw.

They gave up 152pts on 55% shooting in a 152-128 loss to Utah. Nembhard had 25pts, McConnell with 12pts (in 11mins) in his season debut.

Return of two PGs has been impactful for the Pacers. McConnell & Nembhard have 12pts each, the offense is flowing, and get this: just one turnover.

Pacers got ahead by 10, but then the Jazz used a 21-8 2Q run to take the lead, now 70-57 at the half. Defense!
T.J. McConnell is set to make his season debut tonight at Utah. He missed the first 10 games of the season due to a left hamstring strain suffered in the preseason.

So both PGs are back — Nembhard & TJM — helping to restore some normalcy at point + with lineups.
Pacers signed Jeremiah Robinson-Earl to a second 10-day contract ahead of tonight’s game in Salt Lake City. His first expired today.
Pacers scheduled to wear their new City Edition uniforms for the next three games — but they have not yet been unveiled. 🔜
Pacers upgraded T.J. McConnell (left hamstring strain) to questionable for Tuesday in Salt Lake City. So is Taelon Peter.

Nembhard, Siakam, Nesmith are off the injury report.
Another offensively-challenged game for the Pacers, who drop to 1-9. Held to 34% shooting, outscored by 18 at the foul line, and they committed 22 turnovers.

Siakam and Nesmith given the night off on a back-to-back. No Steph either.

Next: Tue. at Utah
This game has quickly gotten away from the Pacers. It was tied at 65 with 3:31 left in the 3rd, now 14 unanswered scored by the Warriors.

Nembahrd has 12/7a, Jay Huff nearing a double-double (10/9). But again — shooting. They're at 33.8%.
Two additions to the Pacers’ injury report ahead of tonight at Golden State.

Pascal Siakam is out - rest
Aaron Nesmith is out - right forearm contusion

They lost last night in Denver, then didn’t get in until after 1am local time
Another rough offensive night (36%) for the Pacers. They trailed most of the game in a 117-100 loss in Denver to begin a stretch with 7 of 10 on the road.

Jokic finished with 32-14-14. Nesmith scored 25 and Nembhard look good -- adding 22p, 6a in his return.

Next: Sun. at GSW
Shorthanded Pacers down 20 in Denver and finishing with a lineup of RayJ Dennis, Monte Morris, Cody Martin, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, and Jay Huff.

It's the first of a back-to-back with a game in San Francisco in less than 24hrs.
Pacers’ deficit is nine at half — after falling behind by as many 19pts. They shot 33% and were led by 15pts from Nesmith. Offense was hard to come by.

Jokic has 16-10-7-5t.
Pacers at Denver tonight, 9 ET. No Gordon or Murray for Nuggets.

Andrew Nembhard back and in the starting lineup — along with Nesmith, Walker, Siakam, and Jackson.
Pacers two-way guard Taelon Peter was added to the injury report.

Questionable — right groin soreness.

They begin a Denver/Golden State back-to-back tonight.
Positive Pacers injury report note: Andrew Nembhard, who’s been out since after opening night, has been upgraded to questionable and is on track to play tonight.

It’s Game 1 of a 4-game trip out west, beginning in Denver.

Newcomer Monte Morris is available and will wear No. 3.
NEW: Pacers, Aaron Nesmith host 28th Annual “Come To Our House” Thanksgiving for Hoosiers — one of the best events they do each year.

Story, video recap, and photos. Plus, hear from Nesmith, Sophie Cunningham, Rachel Simon, Corey Wilson.

Monte Morris has signed with the Pacers.

They considered signing him before camp. To create room, they waived Mac McClung.

Pacers begin a four-game trip in Denver tomorrow — and flew out this morning. Different than usual.

Furphy (ankle) and QJackson (hamstring) "are out for the foreseeable future," Carlisle says. At least 10 days (through the road trip), but no timeline.

Nembhard & Mathurin are making progress. But IND is w/o 8.

Which is why they added Robinson-Earl, Martin on hardship deals.
Now official: Pacers added forward Cody Martin on a 10-day hardship contract ahead of tonight's game vs. Brooklyn.

He will wear No. 11.
