Played quite a bit of this this morning and it was great. Sometimes I would even play Foom on 5 and still have large output on turn 6, even if they had an answer to the Foom lane. More often I was able to play Foom + Kitty and/or skill/arrow on 6.

Very easily my most enjoyable High Voltage: Overdrive deck. Actually had me playing after missions were done 🫣 Went back and forth between Gambit and Shang, but Gambit hitting 1-2 random (for less cost) actually felt stronger. Might try Grandmaster in place of Ultron next.

100%. We can all agree ShouLao's too strong. But counters always do arise, let's see what they are 1st. Adaptation's half the fun of SNAP. Also, he's strong but doesn't engender toxic playlines or games, it's just points. He probs will NEED a nerf, but let's not overreact too much too quickly.
If it were me working on this game, I'd probably give it a few weeks, then try 5/6 Shou, then go further if needed. The big thing to avoid is Mr. Fantastic First Stepsing it - I think the blueprint to follow is Sam Wilson, who gradually lost power over time.
