Discussion with work colleagues today in a quiet spell in the office. If you could travel back in time and spend 2 weeks safely then travel back, where & when would you go to. All the obvious, Dinosaurs, Tudors, etc. Me, to be working behind the bar in the BBC Club at Television Centre circa 1972.

Had a loft sort out yesterday, found a few VHS tapes from days of old. 'After Pilkington' was a favourite, filmed in Oxford in the summer of 1986 I think. The Bentley/Craig drama from 1972 is also an interesting curio. Luckily I still have a VHS player to unlock these treasures in the 21st Century..

The only nostalgia I feel for the 80s ( I was 13 in 1980, 23 in 1990 so formative years) is watching 'Treasure Hunt' on Channel 4. The other stuff, music, fashion, etc was personally on my peripheral.
