I was badly stung by nettles earlier. I paid £95 for a signed photo of Bergerac.
That Boots Christmas ad though with the Disney Princesses and 'Girls on Film' ❤️😍

#Strictly Cor, Diversity are good. Hell of a mash up and performance.

Hattie loves to watch a cheesy Channel 5 American Christmas movie on a Sunday. You know the one, big city publisher goes back to her small town to stop a heartless property developer pull down the local shopping mall. Falls in love, teaches him the spirit of Christmas, etc. That one. Seen it? 😋😄😉

Back to back episodes of 'Goodnight Sweetheart' and a cheese sandwich before bedtime often results in sordid dreams about Dervla Kirwan. Just sayin'..

The theme music to 'The Persuaders' always makes me cry.

Going in early tomorrow night. I know, I know, gets earlier every year. Christmas movie mode initiated so naturally it's 'The Odessa File'.

Cooking tea to the soundtrack of 'Script For a Jester's Tear'. Crumbs. Had forgotten how incredible this album is. It's blindsided me totally. "Promised Wedding now a Wake!" Aylesburys finest..

10 years ago today, 13th November 2015, 'that' Movember. Never forgotten, never again (still donate though). Any resemblance to a certain office manager from an early 2000s BBC2 mockumentary is purely coincidental..😋😁

My next door neighbour had their used car delivered to them by Cazoo earlier. Much twitching of curtains in our close as the Hyundai majestically and slowly reversed off the ramp in a wonderful 'Thunderbird 2' motion as the faux palm trees collapsed 😁

I still think Chris Boucher should have been knighted just for his 'Star One' script alone.

Just whistling a random tv theme tune from the 70s in my office safe in the knowledge that nobody working here will recognise it. Delivery driver walks in with 2 boxes of envelopes, puts them on my desk, hands me a chit to sign , then looks at me and slowly says 'Ask Aspel'? 😁😄

Big fans in our house of 'Canal Boat Diaries' with Robbie Cumming. On our meadow walk we always go through Godstow Lock near Wolvercote which affectionately have named 'Robbies Lock' in honour of the great man as he passes through here in Series 6 Episode 2. 😋

Some bloke I just met in a pub told me there was an episode of 'The Waltons' with a storyline about a real poltergeist. Not imagined, no figment of imagination but a real spirit. I bought him a pint of Guinness, went off on my own in the corner and thought really? In a pub in Headington so maybe?

Home alone so watching the last 2 episodes of the new 'Quantum Leap'. It's been so good, lots to enjoy for old fans like me of the original. A few cameos of old characters ( one is a major character in this series but isn't 😉), a tweak of the original concept which really works and a fab story arc.

A fairly punishing trail run over Shotover this morning with the most glorious encounter midway round.

RIP Pauline Collins. Among many performances over the years, my personal stand outs are the best companion Dr Who never had in 1967s 'The Faceless Ones' and also her performance as the cheeky maid Sarah in 'Upstairs Downstairs' (I fancied her like mad in this! 😋)
