What gets me is that fanfic/fanart creators have been talking about the subject of getting dogpiled, harassed, and pressured *for so many years now* about making dark/unsettling content, and let nobody listened to the canary in the coal mine because “stupid fandom drama”
alternatively we as a society could realize that fiction is about playing with dolls and that horrible things happening to them doesn't matter because it's all toys.
but that seems more complicated than just bringing back big box PC games and publishing books alongside them

instead of buying shit that's not even on discount today you should instead support independent webcomics for the low, low price of read them for free online. Maybe even hand them a couple of bucks or buy something from their online storefronts... just saying...
