There are hundreds of children & women dying every day in the Middle East & Ukraine. Don’t waste headline space with the misfortunes of a handful of thrill seekers.

Funny how Israel is perfectly capable of hitting military targets with surgical precision … when it wants to.

The cops are intentionally shooting rubber bullets at reporters on live TV. Who’s agitating the crowds, exactly?

There is no master plan behind the grift. In the medium term, the Trump policies - sending all foreigners home and shutting down international trade - will reduce US manufacturing to volumes needed locally, while export production will follow the workers out of the US.

The only good that is coming from the current madness in the US is that it has already been an amazing catalyst for change in other countries. Europeans, Canadians, Australians are waking up, questioning the lure of the populist anger, returning to the center.

The U.S. is sliding toward authoritarianism under Trump. But I fear the next Democratic Administration will have no other choice than to stick to that approach to governing to quickly stop the madness. And so, the damage to democracy may already be irreparable!

The problems that were being addressed by federal funds (e.g., food banks to feed the poor) are not going away. States will need to step in and raise their taxes. It’s a zero-sum game.

The problem is that the blue states will no longer be subsidizing the red states.

A cruel awakening is coming.

The true con of the 2024 elections was to make voters believe that government should be run like a business, and that business leaders would thus make good politicians.

Businesses are NOT democracies, and bosses expect their wealth to increase with every decision they make.

Do you see a pattern?

Funny how all those Trump flags are slowly disappearing from front yards.

But don’t worry, MAGA. Your neighbors remember.

Look, mom, no regulations, no overhead, no state!

That’s not how government works in 2025. He’s supposed to draft an executive order using ChatGPT, then sneak it into the pile being signed by the President today and voilà!, it’s the new law of the land.

The problem with the current US administration is that leaders like Trump will always surround themselves with people who they see as inferior (less smart, less experienced, less competent).

Given where Trump sets the bar on these qualities, we have a real problem.
