On a whim I decided to use some Audible credits to get the Last Herald Mage trilogy by Mercedes Lackey. I first read these as a (moody, emotional, and isolated) teenager and loved them. Listening now I find myself in tears frequently and I'm not sure if it's deep rooted trauma or just my age. 🤷🏻♂️

After two black and whites I decided to go for an old favorite... A bloody daddy, which is a bloody Mary with bourbon (old grandad) instead of vodka. Also, bathroom selfie for historical purposes.

In line for Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club, a sticker on the scaffolding in said line, and then finally at our table.
The experience was so wonderful and the show was so good. It was my first time seeing it so I have nothing to compare it to but Orville Peck did not disappoint as the emcee.
