TL/DR: it's unlikely to happen, but getting rid of the DOE will mean fewer resources for already under-resourced schools, the FAFSA, and civil rights enforcement. It would be disastrous and widen the achievement and economic gap. But I suspect that's the point. www.axios.com/2024/11/13/t...

Most people don’t know that slavery still exists. Amendment 13 abolishes slavery except where imprisoned. There should be no exceptions to abolish slavery.
