Let me be very clear: President Trump’s show of force in Chicagoland has one goal. He is trying to divide and scare us into submission. His authoritarian overreach is an attack on every single American. We are one nation, one people, not divided or divisible. We will not back down or submit.

Democrats are fighting to protect health care and prevent a government shutdown. Republicans couldn’t even be bothered to come to Washington. That's unacceptable.

Team Brad was out in full force this morning at the Lake Forest Days Parade! We had an incredible time and are so grateful for the amazing support from the community. It was wonderful to see so many friends and neighbors coming together to celebrate our community today.

One of my favorite parts of the campaign is getting to spend time with our summer intern cohort. This is a fantastic group of interns — they come from all across the district and are already making a real difference.

Yesterday’s attack was a horrific act of antisemitic violence against the Jewish community. My prayers & support are with the victims, and the entire Boulder community in the wake of this senseless hatred. There is no excuse for violence or terror in any form.

It was such a joy to be at the Buffalo Grove Pride Parade today, organized by my good friend Carolyn Pinta and the BG Pinta Pride Project. The message from our community was loud and clear: love is love, and we’re here for each other. Thank you to everyone made today so special.
