I think we should legally change our names to "Mister President"

Here's a thought: all democrats should become registered republicans and participate in primaries voting for the most centrist and left leaning republicans out there. At this point, change is only going to occur from inside the Republican Party.

I put this album out in 2016. At the time, it reflected my work as a hospice music therapist and the challenges it posed to my own beliefs. Almost 9 years later, I think it holds up well. It was voted album of the year at Rochester's Democrat & Chronicle in 2016

Often I find myself providing music therapy in a SNF to a patient with other residents in the vicinity. Yesterday, while my patient and others enjoyed the music I offered, one resident made it clear that she didn't appreciate it. With her back to me she yelled "Does he ever stop???" #musictherapy

Dementia patient to his wife: "say something to scare me!" Understandably puzzled she paused and then answered: "They just discovered five more verses to Mairzy Doats!" Now THAT would be frightening 😬

As a hospice music therapist, I can't choose who I provide support to. I get referrals, I meet the patient and often their family and if I assess benefit from the intervention, I determine a visit frequency. So when I approach a patient's home and see a lawn full of Trump signs, banners and flags,
