The guy I’ve been romantically interested in has, apparently, been getting railed while I was out of state for my dad’s funeral.

Howdy

I am overcome with grief, though I am also enraptured by his scent that still lingers throughout the house. It is very reminiscent of when I was a kid, and it offers moments of respite and amnesty from the chokehold of emotions that are asphyxiating the very fibers of my being.

I had to make a last minute trip to Knoxville, today. My uncle passed away on thanksgiving, but living in Texas…it didn’t quite feel real.

Here I am. Sitting next to the spot where he died. I’m overcome with the unreal reality that he’s gone.
