One of my Holiday Tips that helps my clients from dysfunctional (or narcissistic) families if they are choosing to attend a family event. Sitting next to an elderly family member who holds the family history can also be productive and interesting.

(From April 2024) I interviewed author Gabrielle Zevin for the Seattle Times. So fun to revisit her brilliant novel TOMORROW, AND TOMORROW, AND TOMORROW. We spoke about success and its aftermath, the difference in writing friendship vs romance, and what greatness means to her.
Gabrielle Zevin discusses video games as art, relationships and success
The "Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow" author will speak at Town Hall Seattle on April 25.

First Post: I'm a clinician, C-PTSD expert, researcher, and the author of 'Rejected, Shamed, and Blamed: Help and Hope for Adults in the Family Scapegoat Role'. I also coined the term 'Family Scapegoating Abuse' (FSA). Looking forward to connecting with others here!
