Wait uh if you watch through to the end of the clip THEY TRIED TO BUY TACOS FROM A SHOP WHERE THEY HAD PREVIOUSLY KIDNAPPED A WORKER, WHO IS STILL DETAINED
remembering at my evangelical school when someone let out a cry for help in the “prayer request box” about their gay thoughts and the entire high school responded by going on a giggly witch hunt
Catholic schools are used as legal conversion therapy because you have to wear a gendered uniform cut your hair a certain way etc etc and you are expelled if you don’t. Do you understand this. do you understand how many kids at each school are there for that reason
I don’t actually think you people comprehend the kind of suffering on even a school level scale the queer people and children at these institutions have to go through like you’re actually brain dead stupid

my takeaway from this letter is that glenn youngkin, rector sheridan and their flunkies on the board are deeply dishonest people who are engaged, with the trump administration, in a mob-style shakedown against the university of virginia
Former UVA president Jim Ryan, who resigned over the summer due to pressure from the Trump Administration, just shared this 12-page letter with the Faculty Senate, detailing his experience with the Board of Visitors and DOJ.
It's a surreal--and troubling--read.
