RIP Al Rieber, professor and teacher extraordinaire at many places but latest at CEU. His biography is worthy of a book. His reputation as an Mensch is legendary among students and colleagues. He will be missed, not least because he represented a time when Russian history was a happier place.

The AHA has published Guiding Principles for Artificial Intelligence in History Education, offering a disciplinary approach to AI that focuses on the specific needs and challenges of history educators. 🗃️

Note to researchers coming to work for the first time at the National Archives of Armenia: the building is under renovation and the front entrance is closed. Get in touch if you'd like pics of how to get inside through the back courtyard.
