Querying tip: fall's a SUPER busy submission season for agents—we usually spend summer prepping manuscripts to send to editors—so if it feels like it takes longer to hear back on queries in fall, it probably does. No worries, though! As soon as we sell those manuscripts, we're back looking for more.
