It is absolutely beyond time that the Australian Government imposes the highest level of sanctions against Israel. Tepid words of condemnation amounts to little more than tacit support for this ongoing genocide. Decisive, concrete action is required.

On the day that tens of thousands of people across the country march in protest against the genocides in Gaza, the SMH instead gives higher billing to the feelings of a ghoulish genocide denier. Interesting editorial decision...

We've been rewarding Israel for decades by turning a blind eye as it slowly erases Palestine with settlements and crippling blockades. If we don't act now as it literally wipes cities off the map, then it will be too late.
Recognising Palestine now only rewards Hamas, the side with clear genocidal intent
Condemnation of Israel’s actions – however justified – is no basis for reversing the long-held position that accepting Israel’s right to exist is a precondition of recognising a Palestinian state.

This is not the behaviour of a moral country. This is cruel, unjust and evil. It is state sponsored terrorism. It is time we condemn this Israeli government like we condemn Hamas.

Farcical stuff. If a fog-of-war news story about Israel is the thing she chooses to lead with as an example of anti-semitism, then it seems clear to me there is no "crisis of anti-semitism". Disband these stupid envoys and bolster existing anti-discrimination protections that protect EVERYONE.

I can finally agree with Israel on this one - those who bomb hospitals are war criminals and need to be removed from power and tried as such.

CfMM’s new report concludes that the BBC is biased against Palestinians in Gaza war coverage.
Analysis of 35,000+ pieces of BBC content shows Israeli deaths given 33 times more coverage and more emotive language.
Palestinian deaths were treated as less newsworthy.
