Yes, spreading the word how else will own voice writers get more readers.
This is definitely true. This is why I review and generally bang on about books I like. I only have a tiny platform, but maybe someone with actual influence will pick it up and then I'll have more people to talk to about it!
Seriously. I don’t think readers—and especially other writers—realize how effective we are at selling *other* people’s cool projects just by talking about how much we love them.
