In solidarity with today's ICE OUT OF MINNESOTA blackout, MinnMax is donating $1 to the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota for every share of this Bluesky post for the next hour.

Was kinda hoping this wouldn't be so boring, but oh well. You can really tell that the university has completely removed my ability to play long singleplayer games. Hopefully I'll have more free time next year.

Anyway, show was good; could be better though. It made me feel like we've got a bright future ahead of us and that's pretty nice.

All of the acceptance speeches were really heartfelt and complete. And some of the issues with the industry have been addressed (even if it was a teensy bit cringe sometimes).

At times it still felt like a bit too much attention was diverted to new announcements and not the actual awards, though at this point it's probably unreasonable to expect the show to have less ads. Some of the 'less notable' awards were fired off quickly in succession and that kinda sucked.

I'm a bit late to the party, but I have to say this year's Game Awards have been pretty good (especially compared to the last 2). I actually really enjoyed watching it through a streamer. It's still not perfect, but it seems that Geoff has listened to last year's criticisms, which is good.

I guess I should just start tweeting (or skeeting, i guess?) random things. Like my cool and epic gaming opinions that, I'm sure, a lot of people care about

It feels so weird seeing people, who follow thousands of accounts, follow me. Like, I'm just some other person, I don't even post or comment on anything lol

It has been very nice not seeing blatant bigotry not being plastered everywhere (though every once in a while you still see a character or two) and the vibe is generally more positive. I'm not doing very well mentally right now, so I consider limiting Twitter usage to be a good thing.

Migrating from Twitter has been surprisingly smooth. There are still some people who I follow there so I wouldn't want to completely abandon it, but, since most people are already here, hopefully, I will be using Twitter a lot less now.

Finally decided to make my first post on here, so hello, whoever is reading this. I'm not an avid social media user and I almost never post anything. If you may decide to follow me, don't expect anything lol.
