I have footage shot at 4:3 with a res of 2880x2160. However, the 2880 width is clean aperture and the actual width is 2944. So in my 2880x2160 conform project avid applies a frameflex to account for the 64 missing pixels. Is there any way of avoiding that? #postchat

I'm currently cutting two shorts and it's so interesting not only to work on two very different subject matters more or less at the same time but also observing what things matter to each director and how they approach their work.

I've said it before about Biohazard but the Resident Evil 2 Remake again has me marveling at the level design! Reaching the pristine lab is such a breath of relief after the sewers but the very next path to take is already dark and its wall splattered with blood, ramping the tension right back up!

The project I've been on for over a year is slowly coming to an end and this just arrived from the showrunner!
He's always been a great presence in person and over email, showing his appreciation of everybody's hard work all the way through and this kind of stuff means a lot!

I understand why streamers would move away from title sequences if they get skipped anyway but there are so many iconic ones that I find actually adding to the show, like The Sopranos, and it would be a shame to lose that! There are a lot of bad ones as well, of course.
