Goodbye emails sent. I like to think that I put some of me in them. It's always important to reference films and books to stop them being too dry and dusty but I do wonder if anyone will get the significance of the dolphin reference.

Tomorrow i hand in my laptop and wave to security one last time. I am gone! and then in exactly 2 weeks I'll wander into a new shiny building to meet new folks but probably the same old data issues. Sadly some things never change. #subsurfacedata #geology

Ok, i survived the leaving thing. I didn't cry, but it was a close thing when my boss cried. I'm going miss those folk so much! The gave me chocolates and we had chocolate cake! There is definitely a theme there. Next year, new job, new commute, new friends.

Ok. My current work colleagues need to take a breath. I'm not the messiah of data management. I'm just careful. You will survive without me. It just means you have to be careful too. It can't be hard otherwise I wouldn't be able to do it myself!

I'm leaving this contract job after 10 years. I've just been sent my kudos board. Lol. I don't recognize the person they describe! I am technically brilliant but I am also spiky, arrogant, thoughtless and prone to making unprofessional humorous comments. Such beautiful lies from the teams.
