Last week ICT joined Sikyong Penpa Tsering at the National Endowment for Democracy’s launch of “Tibet Was Never Part of China Since Antiquity.” Written by Professor Hon-Shiang Lau, the book details the true history of #Tibet’s independence and sovereignty.

The International Campaign for Tibet offers our condolences to the family of T. Kumar, who was with Amnesty International for many years in Washington D.C and was a steadfast supporter of the Tibetan people. Tibet was a visible point on his agenda throughout his tenure.

After 2 unjust arrests in 2025, most recently in August for his performance of a song commemorating the #DalaiLama’s 90th birthday, #Tibetan singer A-Sang was released from detention.
