Hello, Bluesky! Save The Bay is excited to join this community and share our work to protect and restore San Francisco Bay for people and wildlife. From advocating for climate resilience to restoring wetlands, we are dedicated to creating a healthier and more sustainable future for our region.
We are making big strides toward Bay restoration! With construction underway on the Palo Alto Baylands Horizontal Levee this winter we will install 3,000 native plants to improve habitat along the marshland.

Our Ravenswood Nursery has successfully built 84 raised plant beds to support the rapidly growing restoration of this critical site. Since the levee breach late last year, salt ponds have been reconnected to bay waters-- this is crucial for establishing healthy salt marsh habitat.
