Halloween night is the perfect excuse to finally figure out all the custom mechanics for my witch campaign for my friends. It's a power fantasy for adult women fighting western civilization with magic powers and ambition like they're shonen protags. There's way more history in it than necessary.

Matou Seihei no Slave is crazy because it’s good shounen manga. I’ve seen its subgenre before (Trinity Seven, Rosario+Vampire) as a kid and grew out of it. But this? A mangaka that actually likes women and writes well? Blows my mind. (Warning: it’s definitely still ecchi harem stuff. It’s just more)

Matou Seihei no Slave is crazy because it’s good shounen manga. I’ve seen its subgenre before (Trinity Seven, Rosario+Vampire) as a kid and grew out of it. But this? It’s crazy to me how Octopath I and II have all the tools to be perfect but flub the story, so people don’t talk about it. Bringing back and modernizing good turn based jrpg combat, pixel art we used to only see in illustrations on deviantart, and good voice acting. But mid story holds it back

The fan letter episode is one of the best episodes of OP, maybe my favorite. There was so much humanity in it when the world is so fantastical. And I love stories set from the outside looking in to give a new perspective of the characters we follow. I wish Hancock had more scenes 😌
