I've heard that most of the ones detained were trying to work on a tourist visa (esta) well, that is not really as it should be. We actually had a very kind costums agent, was not grumpy like the one I had 2 yrs ago in San Francisco. This one didn't even want my fingerprints. The redt did have to.

In my country they gave the warning that people need to have a m or F in their passports, not an X. Sad but true. We had a warm welcome into NY by the customs agent. I don't know what he would do if we had an X in our passports. 🥺

Exactly, we also already booked last August. And that guy did NOT make me cancel it. We had a wonderful week in NY.
