Just got done reviewing a really fun and less common palette result with @carmbern.bsky.social (spoiler alert: she's a bright spring) going over practical applications and clarifying a little bit of the overwhelming first impressions it can give. Color analysis is fun!!!!!

Holy shit, just learned about the typewriter art of Montserrat Alberich Escardívol, a Catalan typist. Using an extra wide typewriter and 180 color ribbons, she built up elaborate images from simple characters like 'm' and '.' and ';'. Here is her typewritten painting of the Cathedral of Barcelona.

The biggest difference in being a native speaker vs functionally near native for me is that sometimes a random word will dredge up from the depths of absolutely nowhere and I'm not sure how I know it but it's there in English and that would simply be impossible in Portuguese. Bilingualism is fun!

Love going through my transaction history to keep up with my accounting and seeing how many even large corporations will hide their names under random vendor IDs like "ES0205" (H&M, btw) so that you can definitely have an easy time of things when looking at your statement
