The data center explosion has given the environmental movement a critical opportunity to remobilize folks - esp. rural constituencies not known to be our usual base - on core issues of clean air, clean water, and affordable clean energy.

but it will take organizers, not just comms.
Microsoft is now warning investors about the pushback against its massive data centers.

The tech giant's latest earnings reports says: “We also face community opposition, local moratoriums and hyper-local dissent that may impede or delay infrastructure development."

Please say something today. Please try to be part of that thread of humanity that saw this and tried anything at all to stop it. Call your reps and ask them to suspend all normal relations with Israel until a siege is dropped in accord with Int'l law. Post if you dont usually. Talk about it. Please

so many "progressive" people chose cowardice and self-preservation over taking the simplest step expected of them in this moment - not being silent.
What Ms. Rachel said.

It is unforgivably heinous - and a genuine mark of shame for me as a Californian - that neither of my senators @padilla.senate.gov and @adamschiff.com have said one word about the deliberate, mass starvation of children funded by our government.
Since 2 March 2025 Israel has prevented the entry of all humanitarian supplies and commercial goods including food, water, medicine and fuel into the occupied Gaza Strip.

Courts cant be the only response.

If we're looking for a moment to jolt a beating heart into the climate movement, NOW would be a great time for unified calls to loud, public resistance from @cjaourpower.bsky.social @climatepower.bsky.social @sunrisemvmt.bsky.social @sierraclub.org etc!

wooohooo! Good to see one small but important act of deflation to the hydrogen hype nonsense come through
SoCalGas was told in last rate case to prioritize EVs but filled its passenger fleet with hydrogen cars anyway. Gave them pretext to build hydrogen refueling stations they could profit on. Decision rejects costs of vehicles, their costly maintenance requirements and new proposed refueling stations.
