I haven't drawn and/or painted in YEARS. At a birthday party for my friend's kid, another friend asked if I could do a painting for her sister of her cat that passed. I'd done one for their dog previously and she loved it. So, I got started on that today. Her name was Mama and she had one eye.

Being forever short-staffed sucks because not only am I the lone front desk person for the last 2 hours of the night, but I also have to finish prepping the lab work to go out and wait here until the last sample spins in the centrifuge and put it out for pickup. I wanna go home!
