Academia can be a truly toxic place. Let’s try to establish solidarity instead of competition, kindness and empathy instead of singling out problems and individuals if they struggle. If you see a colleague struggling: help them. Be there!

„Es ist eine Ehre an einer Hochschule zu arbeiten“. Diesen Satz kennen wir! Er dient der Rechtfertigung schlechte Arbeitsbedingungen auch im Kontext von #IchBinHanna. #TVStud
Während Hartmut Vorjohann, Finanzminister des Freistaates Sachsen, klarstellt, das Studium solle von BAföG und Eltern finanziert werden und es sei obendrein eine Ehre, an einer Hochschule zu arbeiten, gibt sich Lea von TV Stud Dresden kämpferisch: "Wir sind streikbereit!"

Up since 2am, sick kid, went to teach students for 5 hours with my last clean clothes… is it legit to fall asleep while teaching?
